CLORINDA'S PAINTING


CLORINDA CHAVEZ GALDOS, born in Cusco, Peru January 7, 1973 is the fifth of eight children. She studied at the National University of San Antonio Abbot of Cusco and is Licensed in Education of Language and Literature. Nevertheless, her passion is art in the unique style of the city of Cusco known as "The Painting of the School of Cusco" which dates back to the 16th century.In the present century we find the Chavez Galdos family as one group who is dedicated to the tradition of cultivating the Cusquenan style as an art form that has passed from parents to children. They have produced a large number of paintings with a unique technique and their own characteristics in their landscapes and sweetness in the expressions of the faces of the virgin, archangels and all the other themes that they produce.
Clorinda Chavez Galdos is a member of this family who carries on the tradition. Her interest in painting began with her father when he began showing her how to paint at the age of 11. She practiced and continued this style continuously until now. Clorinda arrived in the United States in 2006 on a fiance Visa and is now married to Aaron Bell. She currently lives in Powell, Tennessee and has changed her name to CLORINDA BELL . She signs her paintings as "BClory
CARACTERISTICS OF THE PAINTING : All of the paintings are hand painted oil on canvas. The gold decoration is a family secret painted in high relief.
